Volunteer with SCA

Being a part of the SCA leadership team is a rewarding way to build a sense of community in what can otherwise be an isolating profession. As a volunteer you can be an instrumental part of the organization by welcoming new members, finding new and exciting speakers to present or working to share our organization with the larger professional community. Volunteers get to practice leadership skills, collaborate in setting the vision and agenda for SCA, get a featured profile on the SCA Website and get a 50% discount on CEUs by attending meetings.

Currently SCA is looking for help in the following areas:

• Welcoming committee – register meeting attendees and accept payment
• Website management – assist with ongoing maintenance and improvements to the SCA WordPress site.
• Community outreach – Help get the word out in the community that SCA meetings are a great place to network and get CEUs.
