I am passionate about helping women and men feel more deeply and lovingly connected to themselves and their community. I believe when we lose these connections, life also loses its vitality and meaning. This can leave us feeling isolated, fearful, ashamed and discouraged; we may wonder how we will find our place in the world, how we will begin to explore the potentials we feel within us. Therapy offers us a chance to rebuild these connections as we explore ourselves and our circumstances in a new way. I believe our time together can be fun, creative and enlightening, and I strive to welcome all that is available to you in your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, dreams and relationships. Therefore, I use tools ranging from exploring hardships, intentions and triumphs to mindfulness/meditation, somatic inquiry and heart/soul work. In this way, I help you to address the wounds that keep you from knowing and loving yourself and to discover and harness your unique gifts so you can experience a greater sense of wholeness and joy. I call upon my education in existential, Jungian and transpersonal psychology, my experience with spiritual practices, my Master’s in Cultural Studies and my background in social services and the arts to offer a imaginative, intuitive approach that helps you tap into new, positive possibilities.
