Hello, my name is Ismael Gerena, a mental health counselor & marriage and family therapist. I focus equally on individual and relationship therapy that focuses on your values. I have over 20 years of experience serving the GLBTQI community, and 8 years of behavioral health and counseling experience. I specialize in non-traditional relationships such as polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, as well as blended families and working from a kink aware and affirming perspective. Therapy should be a safe place to explore the depths of your humanity, celebrate your culture and identity, and allow your most positive self to surface.
