Actual Energy Clearing

Clear any energy carried in the body (and we carry it all in our bodies...) This body-based clearing practice works at the interface between the physical body and the energy body where we find our “felt sense” of things. It moves beyond insight, understanding, tapping, and wishful thinking into actually letting energies go. It transforms our relationship to our family and cultural stories, and to our beliefs and perceptions that limit who we are and who we can be. It is a tool that helps us gain the freedom and emotional health needed to live our true dreams without distraction, that works Self-as-the-Therapist triggers and clears those things that hook us as practitioners, and that helps our clients stop spinning in their stories, limiting beliefs and dysfunctional patterns. This amazingly potent process for transforming our bodies' energetic and physical imprints has aspects that are similar to Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, Focusing, Narrative Therapy and Attachment Theory. Come learn how to get out of your own way and respond to life from a more authentic, courageous heart place. This training has been approved for 15 CE’s for Washington State licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Social Workers. $275 Visit http://medicinedancecounseling.com/Events.html to register.

PRIVATE PRACTICE MENTORSHIP AND SUPPORT

Running a private practice requires that we be entrepreneurs as well as therapists, but many of us could use support and guidance with the business end of our practices. If you are in the process of starting or building your private practice and are looking for help and support, consider joining this new group offered at no cost in the Pioneer Square neighborhood. My goal is to provide the forum for people to share ideas, get feedback on their materials, brainstorm about marketing and networking, learn about online advertising, develop supportive relationships with colleagues and have fun. While I will offer what I have learned in building my successful practice, most of the material will come from the discussion that arises among us. The group will remain open to new members as space allows.
